Just came back from dinner at The Coliseum! It's a pretty cool place since it was already there since 1921. So you can imagine all the old crockeries, old napkins (with holes!), old wooden tables and chairs, noisy fans and all. That's the wonder of old colonial-like atmosphere. And I love it! Plus there's so many Caucasians there, it makes the atmosphere even more real. But the service was quite shoddy...:( Can imagine all the pre-war days when the men would come in their coats and topis, with their pretty ladies in dresses or cheongsams. Oh oh, and did I mention they have the coat and hat rack on the wall too? So interesting. And apparently my father brought my mother there for one of their dates. HAHA. So cooool!

Haha. Just to fill up my time. Think I'll read later lah.

Middle-aged. You'll die from something unexpected, just when your kids are going to college or something great is happening. Cause Unknown.
At what age will you die?

Gee. This sucks. I want to see my grandchildren before I die!!

Archie Andrews! You're the star of the show, and
everyone loves you! You have a classic love triangle with wild Veronica and sweet Betty(the choice is SOOOO obvious man!) You are always getting into trouble and you're a big klutz! But, even Mr. Weatherbee and Mr. Lodge can't help liking you! You rock, and I hope you keep getting into crazy adventures, so I can keep reading, even though I'm 15.
Which Archie Comics character are you?

Eeee...I don't want to be a klutz.

You are Beast!

You are brilliant and extremely clever. You can
handle almost any problem swiftly and
efficiently. You are devoted to philosophy and
are always up for a good discussion.
Sometimes, though, your anger gets the best of
you and you upset those whom you care about.

Yikes. I'm bored again. So this is one of the perils of being a bum.

Let me see...my plans for next week. I'm looking forward to it!
Monday -- bum(?). I suddenly feel like watching a clean movie...somewhere along the lines of Finding Nemo or The Other Side of Heaven. Any takers?
Tuesday -- 7-10 with Lip Yoong and Weelee!! Yay.
Wednesday -- The reunion
Thursday -- bum(?) Should I visit the British Council, play tennis with friends or go shopping?
Friday -- Yikes...no more bumming I hope.

4 more days to end of May, 30 more days to end of June and 14 more days before I leave for Singapore. Today is the 171th day I've been back home. All in all, I have bummed for 115 days and did work/studied for 56 days only. Haha.

OK, you guessed it. I'm bored and am at my wit's end to figure out something constructive to do. All I know is time is too precious to be wasted just like that. I want to make full use of the remaining 48 days. Be it continuing my Japanese, finish reading Campbell (a must!), or most importantly spending time with the people I love. I hate going through this again. Just like how I went through every minute of it in 1998. I'm going to miss everything...And it doesn't help that I'm going to a place full of stress, full of memories. How to look forward to going to NUS? Sigh.

Anyway, I need to fix the some html code on my archives. They're going bonkers!

Ever felt constipated? I am now. Not physically, of course. Wouldn't want to share my bowel activities with everybody. :p So, how to describe that horrid pent-up feeling? I'm irritated, annoyed and angry. The heat's probably going to take the majority of the blame lah. And being the selfish little jerk I am, I'm wishing that people would listen to me.

Anybody know how this song sounds like?

Can you pretend to be the man I should have been with
Can we fake the life you know I should have had
Can we do a better job of pretending that you really care
Or I'll have to give the part to someone else

You seem to have an important part
The lead role of my heart
You played it well along time ago
Until I started falling in love
And then you changed your character
And avoided all of your lines
Now the man I love is gone now
Can you play his part at this time

[Chorus]

Love is like a see saw it takes two in order for it to work
I'm working hard, I'm playing my part but the scene still won't work
And rehearsals are long because your timing is all wrong
So I'll find someone who loves me
And who can play your part for life

I deserve a lot better than this
And I'm tired of acting like it's okay for me to give you my love
And receive nothing back in return

Oh yes. Blahblahsheep, that photo might really interest you. :)

I've got a question. Am I a part of your life, or am I just the extension? Sounds like a house, doesn't it. I think I'd categorise most of my acquaintances as the extension and most of my friends as part of my life. It's like a house really, the rooms you go to frequently, the things you use most often and so on. But for the extensions, either you try to visit them more often to make them part of the house, or leave it as it is -- the extension. However, there are also some extensions that require some effort to get in...like keys. Because they are always locked and kept out of your reach. These are the rooms I'd really really like to get in. Sometimes I feel like removing some of the extensions from my 'house' as they are well, 'collecting dust'. Heh. Oh, and there are essential 'rooms'. Like the kitchen, for example. I guess family members are like the kitchen. It's so essential to our survival because that is where food is prepared! Haha. Of course, we could have McDonald's as our extension...but I digress. :)

There. Another piece of my mind.

Went to watch The Matrix: Reloaded with my brother today. It was a good show, considering the effects were superb and the monologues, intriguing. Of course, me having only watched bits and pieces of The Matrix was in a total blur as to what the hell the Oracle is. And was trying to figure out what Agent Smith did to Neo in the last show. Why can't they imprison him in the Magneto-like prison? I say, I'd prefer X2 for their story and Matrix for the slow-mos. Oh, and as usual, kissing scenes were all gone under the scissors! Sheesh. And I'd also like to withdraw my statement regarding X2. I must say it's much more worth watching because the characters develop the story! Anyway, that's just a piece of my mind. Oh yes, the last part when Neo saved Trinity (oops), it vaguely reminded me of Daredevil. Hmm.

After the movie, both of us pigged out at Sushi King. Ate RM45 worth of sushi!! And of course, was reprimanded by dad for not telling him not to cook dinner (yes, my dad cooks...everyday. But but...the best thing was, we got RM20 off! Thanks to some vouchers given by mom. Was happy happy...until dad started scolding me for treating him like a maid. Little did we know that he was trying to pull our legs and make us feel guilty for not going home for dinner.

And I did feel guilty. Over another thing of course. I don't know why I did the thing I did, but it was stupid. I really do realise that. Even when I came home, I still could not figure out my action. Pride? Shyness (bah)? Or because it's something deeper than just that? Why am I so tongue-tied when it comes to revealing my feelings to people? And especially to him?

Can someone crack this?

1. A trip to Pulau Redang with other scholars -- I just can't wait! I love the beach and the sun...not to mention I can show off my new bikini. *grin grin grin*
2. Wee Lee's birthday tomorrow!
3. I can see someone tomorrow...

Had tea with this friend of 15 years. 15 years! It's been so long since we last met and chatted. I'm so glad we're in contact again. This, of course, open doors to networking with my primary school classmates. *happy*

I feel so much better now. Somehow I can sense that things are taking flight in the right direction. All I can hope for now is that it will remain that way. Or soar even higher. *grin* Thank you wonderful person.

Think I really need to enter more things into my blog. But what? I have decided not to complain so much as it does the situation no good and it depresses me. And about wonderful things? Heh. These goes into my diary...Unless I start doing all the quizzes and post a lot of photos...hmmm.

So, another boring entry again.

Happy Mother's Day.

Oh yes. Just remembered that I have a few friends/acquaintances that are already married! Some as early as 17!! Goodness. So they are mothers too. Now as I digress...when will I be a mother? Will I ever be one? Hmmm...

Ack. Better stop.

I can't believe I got Dunman High School on the first try! Sheeeeeeeeeeeesh. They really should try to include more schools. Like CHIJ(TP) for instance...but then again, I shudder at the possible choices that the person might put in.

Anyway, I watched X2 already! Don't know what the hype is all about, but I think it's just an OK show lah. They jump from scenes to scenes too quickly, and without any warning at all. Certainly not for a blur-brained idiot like me. Must be alert whilst watching the show. Still prefer shows like The Hours, The Importance of Being Ernest and About Schidmt.

And and...I want to change my layout! Heehee. So excited.
