Darn. Now I have to download the new ICQ.

All the best Weelee...for your SAT. And when are you coming back?? Must go shopping together. Hee hee~

OK. I am now reduced to being entertained by myself. Yipee. Didn't know I'm such a talented entertainer. So, let me see. What was the last joke I cracked. Hm. OK. Here it is. Why must dogs salivate? Because humans salivate too! Hur hur...
OKOK. I'm sorry! I'm sorry!! *dodging the flying parangs* I'm bad at this. So can someone be nice and entertain me instead?? I am in dire need of entertainment and I'm sure I've watched the episode of Survivor that's on TV now. Sigh. Now. Going to Africa isn't such a bad idea after all! I'll be one with nature. And I'll be satisfied. Truly satisfied. Yum.

Woo hoo...I changed my layout. And it's not so plain anymore. Please please sign in my guestbook so that I can improve!!

Wonder what's wrong with ICQ.

I went for dinner with some of my dad's friends. Me and my brother was sent to sit with 6 other little kiddies with their mom. I was bored to death. And the worst thing of all...they served shark's fin soup!! I have no choice but to stomach it...I feel so sorry for the shark...

I hereby extend my condolences and apologies to all the sharks in the world. I don't mean to eat your relative, but I have to 'give face'. :(

So far the holidays have been quite boring for me. Nothing much to do other than school work. But I suppose it's a good time too...for me to be close to God. Just hope that this 'retreat' will recharge me spiritually and emotionally. This school year has been busy and exciting but it definitely tires one's soul/spirit/whatever. :)

I was upset and troubled yesterday. And the 'something' has something to do with Paul. I ditched him. Mwahahaha...Felt guilty doing it, but well, it's for my own and his good. :)

And I found out what is love. It's in the Bible!! There it was lying in 1 Corinthians 13...and I'm actually so blind to overlook it. Heh. So here it is.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (NIV)

Isn't that amazing??

I feel very upset and troubled. Urgh. But it's because of something else. Not coz of my brother. That's a small matter.

My brother read my diary!! I was so mad at him. And he's trying to use that for blackmail. Silly boy.

The fundraising with Metro has exceeded our target!! We raised to about S$100 000!! And now we are targeting S$200 000. Yay. I'm so glad that even though there are some that donated only like 3 cents just to get the teddy bear, we have exceeded our target!! Yipee yay! I hope we can actually go to Phnom Penh next year!! :)

Wee Lee is a bitchy old maid. I think he needs a girlfriend. Read what he wrote! Then you'll be convinced.

This person that wrote this site is a low-down, despicable idiot.

Harry Potter is superb! It's quite close to the book, but I wish there's more things about Quidditch. Otherwise, the whole show is a good one. Should go and watch. Yay...Look out for this guy, Oliver Woods(screen name). He's so cute!!

Colorgenics!! Untrue but somewhat accurate. Go figure what am I actually going through now. My results. Hee.
posted by w in d~ at 23:56

Ah well, too bad. Cannot read my results. Something's not right. Even the gbook has gone bonkers. Darn. OK. I should just publish it online lah. Sheeeesh.
posted by w in d~ at 23:18

Sigh. I can't wait to watch Harry Potter on Monday. But Weelee's report of it is pretty sad. I hope it's not going to be a flop. Like Pearl Harbor. If not for it's sickly love story, it would've been a fantastic show. I suppose I have very high expectations sometimes. Of course, nothing can measure up to my imaginations...:)

Oh. I almost forgot to continue my story. OK. So Melanie dropped her bucket and ran back to home. She told no one about her encounter with that male because she lives alone. Well, that was because her dad died when she was young and her mom also died when she was only three! Somehow, miraculously, she learnt how to take care of herself. According to the village folks, she learnt all these from the Spirit of the Forest.
Now, the male that Melanie met was a male(duhhh). Heh. He was the son of some villager in a nearby village. Never having to lift his finger to do any housework, he was of course, very spoiled. So why was he at the well? Erm. I don't know!

Will be continued...

Recently I did a test. It's called the GENDER TEST. To those who suspects I'm a male...you are *so* right! Go visit this place. Oh. And my result.

I had a nightmare. It's all about cats. Knowing how much I hate them, I still do even in my dreams. There I was sitting nicely having tea in this garden (perfect weather too). Then this little tabby kitten just have to appear in front of me, imploring with it's huge eyes. Like, what, I'm supposed to offer the nice tidbits to the cat? Then I went like "shoo", and guess what the cat did. It shook it's tiny little orange head at me. Somehow I got really annoyed and found myself this old slipper. I whacked the cat with the slipper and it(the cat) went flat. And the most amazing thing happened. It sort of 'inflated' itself and decided to use it's claws to pinch me. I felt the pain and woke up. Sheesh. Was even more mad at cats after this nightmare.
Hey, but I didn't grow up hating cats. In fact I love them. Such cute, cuddly creatures they are. But well, they crossed my path and incurred my wrath(eh eh...it rhymes!). So there. As to what caused this sudden dislike for cats, it's a long story...when I was at World Trade Centre(the Singapore one lah), this black cat sprung on me and frightened the daylight out of me.
Of course, time passed and I have the 'privilege' to observe catty behaviours in RIB as well as NYGB.
Now you judge, isn't it perfectly reasonable to be mad at cats(alliteration!!)? OK. Why am I trying to justify myself for disliking cats...Ah. Nevermind. good day.

Ah hah. Going to watch TV now!! The shows are back! Yay.

Oh. Go visit Harry Potter's page. I love the Howlers and the site looks really magical. Of course, I'm very thrilled. And Weelee just have to break my bubble. That, THAT person. Wait till he gets back to KL again. I'll beat him up nicely. :)

Well, Wee Lee's gone. I want to go back to Singapore too. And I can't believe he is so bitchy...I mean, all these while I knew his feminine side was the reigning power, but he has risen... He is now combining both his er...masculinity and feminity. Mind you, it's scary.

I think I'm seriously wasting precious space talking about nothing.
I'm going to tell you a story.

There was once this girl. Her name's er...Melanie. She lives at the edge of this forest--the Enchanted Forest. And it so happened that one day, while she was making her usual daily trip to the well some where near a town, she met a male. "ARGH!" She yelled and dropped her bucket.

I *so* want to put my photo online (hee), but I don't know where to direct it to. Never mind lah. Shall forget about it. My neighbour's singing some Christmas carols...I think it's their cell group or something. Ah...Christmas' around the corner!! Yay.

Such a shock. Our King passed away yesterday. (OI. Observe one minute of silence lah!) Yep. I'm totally at lost for words. But, to be at my insensitive side, there's no more entertainment except this blog and Net. *sob*.

Well, it's the 5th day ever since I stepped into KL. I am still bored despite having many things to do. I want more things!!! So far my daily schedule is:
1. Wake up
2. Brush teeth
3. Walk around the house
4. Look out the window
5. Surf TV channels
6. Feels guilty
7. Decides to do some work
8. Gets distracted
9. Go online
10. BLOG!
Sad life ain't it?
Sigh. I've been thinking...2001 will be over in slightly more than a month's time and I'll be in JC2! Time really flies. I really miss the chorale practices with the JC2s (which are doing their A levels now), the carefree breaks talking rubbish with my classmates, the verbal banters with James, Tong, Martin and Teddy, the late night talks with Nor Lan, singing Les Miz with Angela and recording our voices...*sigh* It's just have to come to an end. Of course, not to mention the *very* interesting lectures and tutorials. :)
Basically my J1 life revolves around my college and none in the boarding school. Staying in Nanyang for the past year should at least make me tolerate it more, but no. I still hate the place as much as ever.

Ah. Will continue later. Bye for now.

Was reading up on Teilhard de Chardin's theory on the three spheres in the Universe. He proposed that human minds are constantly evolving upwards...toward a common goal, Omega point, and the propellent force of this evolution comes from the cosmic and all-encompassing physical-moral force of Love.

Wow. So what is LOVE?

Do you hear the people sing?
Singing a song of angry men?
It is the music of a people
Who will not be slaves again!
When the beating of your heart
Echos the beating of the drums
There is a life about to start
When tomorrow comes!

YES.

Javert

There, out in the darkness
A fugitive running
Fallen from God
Fallen from grace
God be my witness
I never shall yield
Till we come face to face
Till we come face to face
He knows his way in the dark
But mine is the way of the Lord
And those who follow the path of the righteous
Shall have their reward
And if they fall
As Lucifer fell
The flame
The sword!
Stars
In your multitudes
Scarce to be counted
Filling the darkness
With order and light
You are the sentinels
Silent and sure
Keeping watch in the night
Keeping watch in the night
You know your place in the sky
You hold your course and your aim
And each in your season
Returns and returns
And is always the same
And if you fall as Lucifer fell
You fall in flame!
And so it has been
And so it is written
On the doorway to paradise
That those who falter and those who fall
Must pay the price!
Lord let me find him
That I may see him
Safe behind bars
I will never rest
Till then, this I swear
This I swear by the stars!

Yummy!

I cannot believe this, but I want to go back to Singapore already. It's freaking boring lah!!! And I can feel my brain rotting already although I am trying very hard to oil and prime it. *sigh*. And I need entertainment. Harry Potter's coming out in another 3 days. That's the only thing I can hinge on now to survive through this boredom. aherm...I MISS SINGAPORE !!

Amazing ain't it?

Do you hear the people sing?
Singing the song of angry men
Blah blah blah

Cannot remember the lyrics liao. But I love Fantine and Eponine!! And Jean Valjean is such a cool name...Cosette sounds like corset...

I'm hungry. Tried to do a bit of Math, but I realised I forgot how to differentiate. Looks like I just have to go on to the next question. Sheesh.

And I've also forgot to add that most of them are orphans or they ran away from home. Some are involved in child prostitution and out on the streets begging.

I think I have forgotten how to blog properly. But I'm really glad to be back home. Spent two lousy weeks in Singapore...OK, maybe not that lousy lah. There's chorale and chorale and more chorale. Oh, and I was selling teddy bears for three days in a row. It's actually for those Cambodian street kids. Those children, they've been living on the streets, depending on rubbish to provide for their daily meal and income for family. And thank God there's a kind soul that went to set up this place called Mith Samlanh (close friends in Khmer). And so, the place is in need of financial help and we (Raffles Chorale and charity squad) were supposed to go to that place this hols and help them paint the place and build some stuff. But you see, the Sept attack just have to ruin the plan. OKOK. I'll get to the point. To help them raise the money, we are appealing to the public to donate and in return, they get a voucher as a token of appreciation. (Which I think is really silly, coz most people will be donating just for the reward they will get.)
Those kids...I really wish I can help them.
